Cody Austin

Originally from Southeast Texas, but currently residing in Tampa, tenor Cody Austin is a graduate of the Academy of Vocal Arts and Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University.  He has performed leading roles and concerts from coast to coast with Pittsburgh Opera, Central City Opera, Opera Santa Barbara, Utah Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Shreveport Opera, Opera Grand Rapids, Knoxville Opera, the Ocean City Pops, the Philly Pops, and at Carnegie Hall to name a few.  Closer to home, Cody sang the role of Don Jose in Sarasota Opera's production of Carmen, numerous leading roles with Opera Tampa and several productions with the Gulf coast Symphony.  He frequently appears with the Bad Boys of Opera, presenting a mix of contemporary and Classical music to audiences across the country.

Guillermo López Gutiérrez: 

Mr. López has performed in the International Festival Alfonso Oriz Tirado, Hermosillo Opera Company, Bowling Green Philharmonia, St. Pete Opera, Opera Tampa, and Spanish Lyric Theater, among others.  He has had the opportunity to perform roles such as Ernesto, Alfredo, Leandro (La Terbernera del Puerto), Juliàn (La Verbena de la Paloma), Gastone and Parpignol.  Mr López has been in the premier cast of new works such as Illegal Alien (Alfonso Molina) and El Pajecillo de Felipe V (Antonio de Maria Campos).  Mr. López made his debut with Opera For Earth in the role of Macduff last season at the Music @ Moccasin Lake Concert Series.

Chris Romeo: 

Chris Romeo is a very active performer in the Tampa Bay area.  He has performed such roles as Don Ottavio, Don Curzio, and Toby (The Medium).  Mr. Romeo regularly performs with St. Pete Opera, New Century Opera and Opera Tampa.  Along with an active performance career,  Mr. Romeo also has a music therapy company called Creative Leaps.  Mr. Romeo made his debut with Opera for Earth in the role of Malcolm this past season in the Music @ Moccasin Lake Concert Series.
